Engineering Grade Resins
W M Plastics works with all the engineering grade resins (see our list). We also seek out opportunities to mold and sample new materials on the market. This allows us to try out new materials so we can make recommendations to our customers. Chances are whatever your material requirements are, we've got experience with it.

LCP's (Liquid Crystal Polymers)
W M Plastics are well versed at running these high temperature materials. There are very specific methods for building tooling so that it can run at temperatures of 350 degrees +. We have also invested in multiple computer controlled oil heating units specifically for running high temperature materials. You can trust your high temperature jobs will be in good hands at W M Plastics.

ESD Materials
Recently we were certified to run a Bell Labs material called "Static Intercept" This material has some very unique properties providing solutions to ESD problems. In addition to this material we have also worked with several other ESD materials suitable for a wide range of applications. Please fill out our online form if you would like more information on any of these materials.

Elastomer Overmolding
If you currently have an application requiring a material that "feels" like rubber or will soon, this material is of great interest to you. Thermoplastic Elastomers (TPEs) are materials that process like thermoplastics but have the characteristics of rubber. W M Plastics has been working with TPEs for over a decade. Through our experience we've learned the unique processing and design requirements of these materials and know that we can help with your next TPE application. For most types of traditional thermoset rubber there is TPE that has been formulated with similar properties. Applications for TPEs span all industries ranging from vibration dampening/shock absorption to slip resistance and ergonomic feel. It is very possible your product's perceived value can be enhanced through the use of TPEs. W M Plastics can show you how TPEs can be used for your products. W M Plastics has years of experience with the design and processing requirements of TPEs. If you have any application for TPEs please use our online form to receive your free samples and information
