We understand this frustration which is why we have created the positions of Customer Associate. Our Customer Associates help you by becoming intimately familiar with your products and ordering preferences. In matters of customer satisfaction, these positions report directly to the President.

Custom Stocking Arrangements: Perhaps one of the advantages of a close working relationship is the ability to keep inventories to minimum for both the supplier and the customer. We work hard with our customers to understand their needs so that we can anticipate their production requirements. By maintaining custom stocking arrangements we can insure on time as needed.

"Demand Pull" Inventory: By developing a close working relationship with our customers, we can work to reduce our customers on hand inventory to a one or two week supply. When this inventory system is utilized we can ensure that our customers have a minimum of costly inventory on hand, while insuring that we always have product to meet their changing needs.

JIT / KANBAN, ETC..: Whatever the system, we have probably already worked with it. Whatever your system is we can conform to it and meets your needs consistently.

Consignment Inventory: Another leading edge procurement service that we offer is consignment inventory. This system may not be right for all customers, but we find there are many applications. This method can sometimes lead to W M Plastics, managing the whole inventory system for our customer.

Bar Coding: With our high speed bar code printers we are able to print any of the three standard formats in the industry. We also do a great deal of customized label printing. Whatever our customers want is what they get.

Electronic Data Interchange (EDI): We have been fully operational with EDI since 1991. We can receive orders, send advance ship notices or invoice.

Custom Packaging: W M Plastics, is well versed with a variety of custom packaging requirements from custom cartons and master cartons to eggshell, blister, retail, counted with sealed polybag.

Mold Maintenance: Part of the service we offer to our customers is ongoing tool maintenance. We believe this is a part of doing business. In our quoting process we include all tool maintenance for all tooling we are contracted to build. On Existing tooling where we have not had control of tooling construction quality, we only charge for repairs as a result of poor tooling design.

Mold Maintenance History Reports: We have an established tooling work order system that documents every tooling repair since 1985. This system allows us to track recurring problems and the general maintenance of all tooling in our care. We will supply our customers with a mold maintenance history report upon request.
